My Dog Is Having Strokes

'IMPOSSIBLE!

"Nothing is impossible," is the title among those released in the media these days that best represents the event that we, like millions of others around the world , we have witnessed on the night of November 4. For the first time an African-American, only 47 years old, became president of the United States of America, and this is perhaps the first good news of this new millennium! The "Democratic Party" could not remember hardly a success so overwhelming, since '68 in his Grant Park, where Barack Obama did his first speech as president-elect, left the protest against the Democratic National Convention, and that was the beginning of all troubles Democratic donkey, then returned to the White House and Democrats rarely much sui generis, and the centrist South, as Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.
But beyond all, I think this was a complete victory in the America, a country that wants to turn the page and realized that out of the crisis need not turn in on themselves and show their muscles, but we must broaden their horizons, to keep open channels of dialogue and be the flag of the rights of all regardless of skin color and social class.

("... the real strength of our nation is not in the strength of our arms or in the abundance of our resources, but in the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity, hope and inflexible. "B. Obama)

And the United States have understood, are far from the pathetic political theater of our local ..
They are no longer a country of red states and blue states (the concept on which the former Republican president Richard Nixon founded the Republican hegemony ..), but they are one people regardless of any distinction, so much so that McCain called Obama " my president. "
then Obama in his speech said that the chairman of all who hear the voice of those who do not has voted and who will not agree with the decisions to take. And this makes me very angry, why we here in Italy we were so far away from that statement ..
E 'also this is the strength of a people, which is recognized in the strongest ties of political! And those who govern a country and a people must understand that you do so at the service of a community and not to secure their interests.
However, in America the change has come, the sweet revolution has begun, and maybe one day we can talk of revolution in our country.

("This is our time, time to put people to work, to open doors opportunities for our children, to bring back prosperity and promote the cause of peace, to reclaim the American Dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth that, among many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope. And where we are met with cynicism and doubt and those who tell us that we can not, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people: Yes we can. Thank you, God bless you, and bless the United States of America. "B. Obama)
